“Be You” is one of the last singles I will have time to release 16h October 2025. This lyrics and song is a shout out to myself, and to everyone who sometimes forgets who they are.
When I first started writing this song, it was actually another slow ballad. I imagined something gentle, introspective, maybe even melancholic. But as the words began to take shape, I realized that this message didn’t need softness, it needed strength. It needed energy, movement, rhythm. It needed to feel alive.
So I changed direction. I wanted “Be You” to energize and empower, to be the kind of song that lifts you when you doubt yourself, that makes you want to stand taller, breathe deeper, and stop apologizing for being who you are.
The message is simple but not easy: we are all enough as we are. It sounds obvious, yet so many of us spend a lifetime trying to fit in, to belong, to matter in other people’s eyes. We learn to perform, to adjust, to smooth out the edges that make us unique. But the truth is, when we stop following the compass of our hearts and minds, we start feeling unfulfilled, no matter how well we “fit.”
“Be You” is my reminder that authenticity isn’t about being perfect. It’s about being real, about daring to show both strength and vulnerability, about trusting that the right people will connect with the real version of us. Life gets more interesting, deeper, and brighter when we stop pretending.
Musically, this song was an experiment for me. I wanted to play with contrasts, rock rhythm meeting ambient synth layers, a mix of grounded energy and dreamlike soundscapes. It felt refreshing to explore this style, and honestly, I should do more of that.
So here it is — a song for confidence, courage, and trust.
A song for those moments when you doubt yourself.
A reminder that you don’t need to be someone else to be enough.
Just be you.
