This is the third single and released a few days after the others 20th October 2025 to honor one of my most important friends and partners on her birthday.
Some people step into our lives and change everything, not by trying to, but simply by being who they are. “You Saw Me” was written for one of those people. Someone who believed in me long before I learned how to believe in myself.
This song is a thank-you, a celebration, and a reflection of what it means to be truly seen. It’s about those rare people who look at you and don’t just see who you are right now, but who you could become, and who gently guide you toward that version of yourself. They remind you of your worth when you’ve forgotten it, and of your light when you’ve lost sight of it.
For me, this song came from a very personal place. It was written in honor of someone who has made a deep impact on my life and my professional journey, a mentor, a guide, and a friend who has always been there with patience, generosity, and honesty. The kind of person who encourages others not only with words, but with actions. Someone who listens, challenges, and uplifts in equal measure.
I created “You Saw Me” to celebrate her 60th birthday, a milestone that felt like the perfect moment to give something back. The original version carries the heartfelt simplicity that defines my music: soft tones, honest lyrics, and emotion at the surface. But I also made a special remix of the song, shaped more to her style, with a brighter rhythm and a touch of the joy she brings to every room she enters. It’s my way of saying thank you, not only in words, but in sound.
The song is a reminder that mentors, friends, and guides don’t just teach us skills, they help us discover who we are. They hold up a mirror, showing us both our shadows and our light, and remind us that we already have what we need inside us.
“You Saw Me” is for her, but also for everyone who has ever lifted someone else up. It’s for the teachers, leaders, and quiet supporters who choose to see the best in others, even when we can’t see it ourselves.
Because sometimes the most powerful thing you can do for another person is to simply see them, fully, and without condition.
