Less than three days left now, and there’s really not much more I can do except wait. All artist accounts are being opened and soon everything will be ready to refine.
Meanwhile, my real life is calling, work, meetings, kids, dinner, bedtime stories, all the things that keep me grounded. And that’s how it should be. Music is a part of me, but not all of me.
Now that the first 9+1 singles are about to be released, I find myself trying to decide which one is my favorite. The one where the lyrics mean the most? The one with the melody that still moves me every time I hear it? I honestly can’t decide.
And maybe that’s how it’s supposed to be. Each song holds something different, a thought, a feeling, a memory. Some days I listen to reflect, other days to recharge before a meeting or a run.
